Please indicate the volunteer role you'd prefer. However, REACH reserves the right to place applicants in the position that is of greatest need or, according to staff discretion, best suits your abilities:
COUNSELOR: Paired with another counselor with a ratio of 1:2-3 children or teens. Will be with those assigned campers during the whole day Friday through Monday.
ROVER: Assists with set-up, take down, and other behind-the-scenes activity. May help with campers if needed.
Volunteers are required to attend training before coming to Camp. Because REACH has such a unique culture, we use this training as a way to get to know one another, as well as introducing volunteers to specific issues they will see during Camp. We want all our volunteers to feel prepared and ready, which includes going over (A) Policy/Procedures, (B) Medical training, & (C) Psychosocial information.
These (4) forms are located on the REACH website, on the Volunteer page. Scroll down to find the forms listed individually.
We require all volunteers to complete this paperwork, even if you do not attend training. Please download the forms, fill them out and bring them to training, email them to paskren@REACHministries.org, or mail them to:

NOTE: We are required to have on file the original, signed version of the Background check form - please mail it to the office.
The REACH safe community is based on trust and a high level of professionalism and confidentiality. We ask that you respect and protect the privacy of children and families inside and outside of REACH events.

There is a non-refundable registration fee for all camp participants, including volunteers ($30), to help subsidize the cost of food and housing for the 4-day Camp ($400/per person). Upon completion of this application you will be directed to a page to make your debit or credit card payment. We are extremely grateful for the time that you give as a volunteer, but if you wish to contribute more than the registration fee, we would greatly appreciate your monetary support.
