Creative Programs

Creativity is one of the ways REACH builds connection, confidence, and community. Our creative programs offer welcoming, low-pressure spaces where individuals, children, teens, and families can explore art, learn new skills, and connect with others.

What Creative Programs Look Like at REACH

Our creative programs are designed to meet people where they are—whether in person or from home. No experience is needed, and there’s no expectation of perfection. The focus is on expression, connection, and enjoying the process together.

🎨 Creative Expressions (In Person)

What it is
Creative Expressions is an in-person creative gathering held at the REACH office. Each session offers a guided art activity in a relaxed, welcoming environment.

Who it’s for
Creative Expressions is open to individuals connected to REACH.

When it happens
Creative Expressions gatherings are held throughout the year on select dates, usually a weekday  at 11 am. Sessions are standalone—you can attend one or many.

What to expect

  • All supplies are provided

  • No art experience needed

  • A supportive, judgment-free space

  • Time to create, connect, and enjoy being together

📦 Creative Expressions Club

What it is
Creative Expressions Club is a monthly creative experience for youth. Each month, participants receive a box of supplies in the mail and then come together on Zoom to create and connect.

Who it’s for
Creative Expressions Club is designed for HIV positive youth or youth with an HIV positive caregiver, who enjoy hands-on activities and connecting with peers in a creative setting.

When it happens

  • Monthly – last Tuesday of the month from 4:00 to 5:00 pm

  • Supplies are mailed in advance

  • A guided Zoom session brings everyone together to create

What to expect

  • Clear, step-by-step guidance

  • Flexibility to complete projects at your own pace

  • A welcoming, fun Zoom environment

  • Opportunities to connect with other youth in REACH
