Registration is Open for the REACH Labor Day Getaway 2026
For more than 30 years, REACH has brought together children, adults, and families affected by HIV for a special Labor Day Weekend retreat focused on connection, encouragement, fun, and community.
We are excited to announce that registration is now open for the 2026 REACH Labor Day Getaway!
This year’s getaway will take place from Friday, September 4, at 5:00 PM through Monday, September 7, giving participants 3 nights and 4 days to relax, reconnect, and create lasting memories with their REACH family.
The Getaway is open to individuals living with HIV and their immediate family members. Whether you are attending for the first time or returning to see old friends, you’ll find a welcoming community where everyone is valued, supported, and accepted.
This year’s theme, Rooted in Belonging, reflects the heart of REACH. Just as roots provide strength, nourishment, and stability, meaningful relationships help us grow and thrive. Throughout the weekend, we will celebrate the connections that remind us we are never alone.
Guests will stay in comfortable, hotel-style accommodations and enjoy three meals and two snacks each day. Along with great food and fellowship, participants can take part in a variety of activities designed for all ages, including:
• Campfires and community gatherings
• Theme nights and all-camp activities
• Archery
• Climbing wall
• Ninja obstacle course
• Swimming
• Creative activities and crafts
• Adult, teen, and children’s groups
• Social nights and opportunities to connect with others who understand the unique experiences of living with HIV
For many participants, the Labor Day Getaway is more than just a retreat. It is a place where lifelong friendships are formed, where children discover they are not alone, where adults find understanding and support, and where individuals and families can simply enjoy time together in a safe and welcoming environment.
